This website is currently under construction.
Usually, we would place a holding page here while we work our magic on the back end. Normally, you’d see a page that is shiny, sleek, and somewhat sexy; something that is polished, pristine, and professional. Similarly, we wouldn’t share or publish our social media accounts until they were immaculate and well established. This is simply good practice.
BUT, we’re doing things differently this time.
One of the main aims of The Makers’ Mentors is to demystify websites, selling online, and social media, by demonstrating how those tools can help you develop your creative business. So, we’re showing you what we do, how we do it, as we do it – even highlighting our mistakes along the way so you can avoid them.
We will share our years of experience with you so you can do what you do best – making and enjoying selling your items.
By choosing to visit our site and read this, there’s a good chance you’ve lost some of your spark and you’re feeling disheartened by poor sales. The joy you experience from making is decreasing as people don’t realise or appreciate the time, effort, and love you pour into your craft. Trying to encourage potential customers to engage with your creations on social media is a constant struggle. You feel worn down from trying to learn new digital skills that you don’t understand or enjoy. We want to help you rediscover that joy: that is at the heart of The Makers’ Mentors philosophy and the springboard for our business.
Since this website is a work in progress rather than a fully formed product, you will see it grow organically in real time. Through our regular updates you will learn more about us, including the services we offer (and those we aim to add). You’ll discover why you should choose The Makers’ Mentors to help nurture you and your business, including our plans to create a supportive and collaborative community.
